The wife of a village’s poorest family, Medine, wishes to make her mark in the community by putting on a feast for the circumcision of her 5-year old son. Guests get more than they bargained for when they hear that have become cannibals upon eating what was served for dinner. After fleeing the village only to return years later daily life looks normal.
